What can I expect during the treatment process?

We use Redensity® 2, a specialised and award winning hyaluronic acid filler that is designed specifically for the under eye area.
During the treatment the eye area is cleansed with an alcohol wipe and numbed. Small and precise amount of filler is injected using a cannula.

The process usually takes 30-45 minutes, with minimal discomfort.

You’ll see some visible improvement immediately, with full results developing over the following days. We may need to see you again 2 weeks later to add some more filler. Our approach is to inject the appropriate amount of filler and not to overfill this delicate area, to avoid future swelling.

We use filler called Teosyal Puresense Redensity 2 from Teoxane Laboratories. It is an advanced dermal filler, that is specifically designed to treat the difficult and sensitive area under the eyes. It contains a mixture of cross linked and non cross linked HA, which is specifically indicated for under eye circles and dark hollow areas under the eyes. The results of this treatment can last from 9-12 months.

Tear trough fillers is not suitable if you:

• Have very loose, sagging skin under the eyes
• Suffer from puffiness or fluid retention in the under eye area

Have some medical conditions affecting healing or blood clotting, take blood thinners. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, had cancer or receiving chemo. You will have a consultation to make sure the treatment is safe and appropriate for you.

• Avoid touching or rubbing the area.
• Sleep with your head elevated the first night to reduce swelling.
• Avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, and extreme temperatures (like saunas) for 48 hours.
• Results typically last between 9-12 months depending on individual factors.
