What is permanent makeup?
Permanent makeup is also called semi permanent makeup, micro pigmentation, PMU, SPMU or cosmetic tattoo. It is a form of tattooing, using special tools like permanent makeup machine or microblades, the pigment is deposited into the skin.
What is the difference between microblading and pmu machine?
There are two different tools that are used in permanent makeup tattooing: microblading pen and a pmu machine.
Microblading is a very old tattoo technique that originated in Japan between 1600-1800 and was reinvented in Asia around 2005. It is a manual pen with fine blades that scratch the skin and deposit pigment.
Pmu machine is a gentle tattoo machine that uses cartridges with various needle configurations that deposit pigment in the skin.
Both microblade and machine can create hair strokes and powder eyebrows.
