Permanent fine or medium eyeliner

A permanent fine and medium eyeliners are slightly thicker and extended above the lash line to give more noticeable result.

A permanent decorative eyeliner is extended past your lashline to add a little flick in the outer corner of your eyes. Some people call it decorative eyeliner, some latino eyeliner or just an eyeliner with a flick. How to prepare for your permanent eyeliner?

• For about 4 weeks avoid henna, lash tint, lash perm, lash growth serums. Do not tan.
• Two weeks before your appointment remove fake eyelashes
• 2-3 days before avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, any blood thinners, don’t drink alcohol.
• Arrive to your treatment without makeup, remove contact lenses and replace them with glasses.

 

What to expect during your treatment?

We will ask you to come for a quick consultation to exclude any contraindications and to patch test you. During the initial treatment we will draw a template of your eyeliner so we know exactly how it will look on you, we can adjust the shape for your approval. An anaesthetic is applied and once this starts to work we’ll proceed to the actual treatment where we implant the pigment. Treatment may take from 1.5 to 2.5 hours.

 

Does permanent eyeliner tattoo hurt?

We apply a numbing cream to minimise any discomfort, but people have different level of pain threshold. Usually the feeling is described as ticklish, as the machine touches eyelashes when being moved around.

 

Permanent eyeliner aftercare

Proper aftercare is very important.

• Use only recommended aftercare cream and wash.
• Don’t rub, pull, pick or scratch your enhancement.
• Avoid tanning and chlorinated water for 4 weeks.
• Don’t get any lash extensions until healed.

 

How long does a permanent eyeliner last?

Permanent eyeliner last a long time. Usually 2-5 years but often even longer than that.

• eyelash extensions, contact lenses must be removed

• skin conditions eg. psoriasis
• blood thinners, retinoids, steroids and antibiotics

• certain eye conditions
• anemia
• uncontrolled diabetes

How Long Does Semi Permanent Eyeliner Take to Heal?

The initial swelling will go down within a few hours. Any redness will subside within the next day or even sooner. Full healing can take between 5 to 7 days before you can wear your eye makeup.
